He was influenced by his father and fell in love with calligraphy creation. At that time, his family was poor and his life was difficult. Not to mention Four Treasures of the Study, he couldn't even afford a copybook. All the copybooks are borrowed from classmates and friends. Hard won't help you. In your spare time, Cao Shijun never forgets to pick up a stick and practice writing at will. Every night, Cao Shijun's only entertainment is practicing calligraphy. These laid a certain foundation for his later practice of painting and calligraphy. In the past 30 years, Mr. Cao Shijun's calligraphy works have won gold, silver and bronze prizes in national competitions, and some of his works have been collected by some domestic museums. In 2010, Cao Shijun was awarded the honorary title of "World Chinese Artist" by the Art Center of the Ministry of Culture and the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. In May of the same year, he was hired as a visiting professor by Art Professional Committee of China Architectural Research Association and Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Association.
